Peacock built out this street level tenant amenities suite on the prominent corner of Battery and Clay Streets in downtown San Francisco. The Hub features flexible workspace, a tenant lounge, meeting rooms, bicycle storage and repair, and locker rooms with showers. We also implemented branded graphics throughout.
The project team sourced bespoke lighting fixtures made from real bicycle spokes, and Peacock installed a map-etched cork board that encourages cyclists to share where in the Bay Area they commute from, helping to build a sense of community amongst tenants.
The project kicked off in February 2020, one month before COVID shutdown all work. Despite a 2 month shutdown with full demobilization and remobilization and operating under an uncertain construction atmosphere with ever-changing construction protocols, we were able to deliver the project just 6 weeks past the original scheduled completion.
