Kaiser Permanente | Vallejo Hospital | EVS Locker Room and Family Residency Remodel
This OSHPD-inspected project was located in a fully occupied hospital with the trauma center located above the area of construction. We acted as the prime contractor while working with CPFC.
Our scope of work included the complete demolition and contained off-haul of the existing build-out, new framing to deck height(15’, drywall, taping and sanding, sealants and caulking), upgraded fire-rated corridor door assemblies at three entrances in a non-rated assembly and new fire barrier coating at ceiling decking and exposed I-beams.
We also provided glazing, millwork, new acoustical ceiling grid system, toilet accessories at three new ADA restrooms and showers, 200 ADA aluminum locker installations, ADA wood benches and pedestal supports, Nora Environcare floor covering (required heavy floor preparation), smoothing and leveling, corner guards, and full-body mirrors.
We worked with CPFC and coordinated with their trades on this OSHPD-inspected project. The location was a fully-occupied, sensitive work environment that required full infection and dust control, including barriers and air scrubbers throughout the duration of the construction project.
