Kaiser Permanente | Pleasanton | PTC Training Center at Building E

Special Finishes:
This sixteen-week project consisted of working within a fully-occupied training facility for Kaiser. The project was an OSHPD project, where we maintained dust control for all trades involved with the project.  As the prime contractor, our scope of work included construction of all new walls, taping of existing perimeter walls and the new construction of a glass wall at the main entry.

We installed all hard-lid ceilings within the restrooms, along with suspended acoustical ceiling of varying heights throughout. We also installed four types of floor covering throughout the space for communal areas, break room, hallways and main entry. All doors, frames and hardware were installed per Kaiser’s building standard and the doors were ceiling height throughout.

Difficult Tasks:
We worked with Kaiser’s CPFC throughout the project and coordinated with other trades who weren’t in our scope of work. The building was fully-occupied, had level-3 infectious dust control and required MSDS reports maintained daily. We also installed football-shaped curved walls installed and installed four ceiling heights.
